four cheese fondue

Quick and easy cheese fondue.

 

A traditional tasting cheese fondue that you can whip up in under 10 minutes!

Four Cheese Fondue Ingredients

5oz (or 150g) Gruyere cheese, grated
5oz (or 150g) Emmenthal cheese, grated
3+ 1/2oz (or 100g) tasty cheese, grated
1+ 1/2oz (or 50g) Boursin cheese, crumbled
1 clove garlic, peeled & crushed (or very, very finely chopped)
1 cup white wine
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons all-purpose/ plain flour
2 tablespoons brandy
1/2 teaspoon ground white pepper
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground mild paprika
bread, cut into cubes
assorted raw vegetables, cut into small cubes or julienned

Four Cheese Fondue Directions

Into a pot over medium heat, combine garlic, white wine and lemon juice.
Bring to the boil.
Reduce heat to low.
Whisk in the four cheeses until mixture is smooth.
Whisk in the rest of the ingredients.
Simmer over a low heat for two minutes.
Serve your delicious four cheese fondue with cubed bread, crudités, biscuits etc.
